1. Definitions
For this Refunds & Cancellation Policy, Shelf 2 Self, S2S, we, us or our means Shelf 2 Self and persons acting on its behalf. User, you or your means the purchaser, subscriber, counselling requester, webinar participant, student, parent, guardian, or any person placing an Order. Order means any purchase, subscription, booking, or payment made for a Guidebook, Digital Product, counselling, admission guidance, or other paid Service.
2. General Policy
Shelf 2 Self primarily provides digital guidebooks, digital access, admission-related resources, and counselling or admission guidance. Due to the nature of digital products and online access, all purchases are treated as final once payment is successfully completed and access or service confirmation is initiated, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved by Shelf 2 Self under this Policy.
3. Digital Guidebook Purchases
Users are requested to carefully check the Guidebook name, university, course, stream, category, product description, validity, access details, and price before making payment. Once the Guidebook or Digital Product is unlocked, delivered, downloaded, viewed, emailed, made available through a user account, or shared through an approved access link, the purchase shall be final.
4. No Refunds Except Approved Exceptions
Refunds are not offered as a general rule. A refund may be considered only in limited cases approved by Shelf 2 Self, such as duplicate payment for the same Order, amount deducted but access not provided, wrong access provided due to a technical error by Shelf 2 Self, payment successful but Order not generated, or any case where refund is required under applicable law.
To request review of such a case, the User must contact Shelf 2 Self within 24 hours of payment with registered name, email address, mobile number, payment proof, transaction reference, screenshot if available, and details of the issue.
5. Counselling and Admission Guidance
Counselling or admission guidance requests may require payment after submission of details and before confirmation of the Service. The User must provide accurate contact and admission-related information to enable proper support.
Once a counselling or guidance request is confirmed, cancellation and rescheduling shall be subject to team availability and the terms displayed or communicated at the time of booking.
6. Rescheduling
If a User is unable to attend a scheduled counselling or guidance session, a rescheduling request should be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled time. One reschedule may be allowed at the discretion of Shelf 2 Self, subject to available slots and operational feasibility.
7. Late Arrival, Incorrect Details, or No Response
If the User provides incorrect contact details, remains unavailable, joins late, does not respond, or fails to attend the session without timely intimation, the session may be treated as completed or closed, and no refund obligation shall arise.
8. Free Sample Pages and Free Webinars
Free sample pages and free webinars are provided without payment. No refund, compensation, or replacement claim shall arise if a User misses a free webinar, reminder, update, link, or free resource. Webinar schedules may be modified, postponed, or cancelled based on availability.
9. Technical Access Issues
If a User faces genuine technical difficulty in accessing a purchased Guidebook, the User should contact Shelf 2 Self with payment proof, registered contact details, order details, screenshots, and a description of the issue. Shelf 2 Self will make reasonable efforts to resolve verified technical access issues.
10. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved by Shelf 2 Self, the refund shall be processed to the original payment method or any other method deemed appropriate by Shelf 2 Self. The time taken for the amount to reflect may depend on the Payment Gateway, bank, UPI provider, or financial institution.
11. Cancellation by Shelf 2 Self
Shelf 2 Self may cancel, postpone, or reschedule any counselling session, webinar, support service, or access-related service due to technical issues, unavoidable circumstances, non-availability, operational limitations, misuse, or any reason beyond its control. In such cases, Shelf 2 Self may provide a rescheduled slot, corrected access, alternative resolution, or refund where applicable.
